Hindi or Urdu Food Field Sales Role based in the Netherlands

This a HINDI or URDU speaking OUTSIDE/ FIELD SALES role that is based in The Netherlands (Holland). If you speak fluent HINDI or URDU, love food , and have excellent food product knowledge then this is a wonderful role in which you will be the master of your own diary and travel the world meeting existing and new customers ( supermarkets , restaurants and grocery store owners) selling them Indian spices and foods. The role is very autonomous and will include attending food-events and developing new business relationships. You need to have a Dutch driving licence and some sales experience and have a food-related background. There are excellent career opportunities in this expanding sector at the moment. The role involves about 50% global travel and there will be full training provided .

Location : 100% remote from Holland.

Languages required : Fluent Hindi or Urdu & English
Salary circa Eu3,500 per month + additional Eu7,000 in bonus’s ( basically 2 months additional salary . Total compensation is Eu49,000 per annum

Essential background: Dutch or EU driving licence. Some sales experience . Food knowledge

Company details: This is a well-established food import/export business that specialises in importing specialists food products from India and supplies supermarkets and restaurant chains . The company has well established relationships with customers that go back 30 + years and in this role you will meet existing customers and also generate new business. The company is expanding fast and has gone through a recent explosion in growth as a result of the increased interest in home-cooking that started during Covid. People are now experimenting with new flavours and new dishes and this company has been able to grow to accommodate increasingly sophisticated and international dishes. In this role you will introduce existing retail customers to new products , build new relationships with prospects all over Europe and the UK, arrange visits and do new business development
Duties
Out-and-about meeting customers (Sales)

• Get out and meet potential or existing customers to inform them of new products
• Introduce new recipes
• Travel to customer locations globally in order to create personal relationships for the longterm
• Liaise with the sales order processing team in the office in The Hague who will do your order processing for you
• Negotiate sales volumes and new supplier contracts
• Constantly ” drop in” to meet existing customers to ensure that they are happy with the products and service
• You will work to informal sales targets that you are happy with
• Full training will be provided

REQUIREMENTS:

• Fluent Hindi, or Urdu and English (Dutch would be useful )
• Some Previous experience in Sales

• A genuine passion for food
• Dutch or EU driving licence
• A desire to be in a role where you are NOT desk-bound
