DUTIES: In this role you’ll lead customs governance, safeguard import/export compliance and manage customs clearance operations for spare parts, cars, trucks and EV’s
- Manage tariff classification and compliance for all imported vehicles and parts.
- Ensure that processes are aligned with UK/EU regulations.
- Liaise with HMRC, respond to audits and manage relationships with customs‑clearance agencies.
- Optimise clearance processes across UK ports..
- Collaborate with logistics, finance and commercial teams to support new‑product introductions and market expansion.
REQUIREMENTS
- Solid experience in automotive customs and import operations.
- Knowledge of UK Customs Code, rules of origin and trade‑agreement structures.
- Degree in international trade, logistics, supply chain or related field.
