- Managing VAT registrations and compliance for a variety of EMEA entities
- Supporting audits, analysing data and reconciling month-end VAT accounts
- Working closely with tech, finance, and tax teams to drive automation and process improvements
- Taking ownership of your area, solving problems, and playing a key part in a globally recognised compliance function
About You
We’re looking for someone who’s:
- 5+ years of experience of working in VAT advisory or VAT compliance function having basic VAT knowledge
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or a closely related field – a strong academic foundation is key
- Technically savvy – especially with Excel (PivotTables, SUMIFS, VLOOKUP)
- A self-starter who thrives with minimal supervision
- Calm under pressure and used to working to tight deadlines
- Collaborative, curious and driven to improve processes
Bonus points if you have:
- A tax or accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, AAT)
- Language skills (Italian or French would be especially beneficial)
- Experience supporting audits and working with financial systems
What You’ll Gain

- This contract has strong potential for extension, subject to performance over the initial 6-month period
- The chance to influence and improve processes in a global organisation
- A collaborative culture where your ideas are welcomed
- Flexibility around life admin – although this is an office-based role, some leeway can be given for appointments, school runs, etc.
