We’re looking for a confident and collaborative Program & Community Manager to lead regional developer engagement efforts and oversee the successful delivery of initiatives that support one of the world’s largest developer ecosystems.
What you’ll be doing
This is a hybrid role, split between program delivery and community leadership. You’ll be the driving force behind developer-focused events and outreach, while also scaling support for local tech user groups and community advocates.
Program Management (50%)
- Plan and execute regional developer initiatives, meetups, and third-party event collaborations
- Build and maintain project dashboards, track KPIs, and clearly demonstrate impact
- Streamline operations, introduce smarter workflows, automation, and process improvements
- Manage vendor relationships and program budgets
- Align your work with wider organisational objectives and cross-functional teams
Community Engagement (50%)
- Own and grow the User Group Program across a key region in EMEA
- Develop authentic relationships with community leaders, tech influencers, and developer advocates
- Support the delivery of grassroots events like Community Days and user-led workshops
- Gather feedback from the field and use it to shape future programs
- Help community organisers thrive; mentoring, promoting, and enabling them with resources
About you
You’re a natural connector and strategic thinker who thrives on making things happen. Whether you’re running events or building a dashboard, you bring energy, structure, and a solutions-focused mindset.
Essentials
- 5+ years in program/project management
- 3+ years in customer-facing or community engagement roles
- Proven experience managing complex programs with multiple stakeholders
- Strong data and reporting skills, able to turn insight into action
- Excellent communicator, comfortable engaging with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Familiar with developer culture and technical communities
Nice-to-haves
- Experience managing developer-focused communities or working in DevRel
- Proficiency in a second European language (German, French, Spanish…)
- Exposure to tools like Asana, JIRA, Salesforce, Marketo, Qualtrics
- Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or similar)
- Experience working with international or remote-first teams
