Our client is seeking an experienced Media Buying Manager to drive integrated media campaigns across traditional and digital channels, delivering measurable results and supporting ambitious business growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute integrated media buying strategies across TV, digital, OOH, print, radio, and emerging media channels.
- Manage media agencies and vendors, ensuring alignment with internal marketing, brand, product, and retail teams.
- Conduct audience analysis, market research, and competitor benchmarking to inform media planning.
- Negotiate media rates, placements, and sponsorship opportunities to maximise value and campaign effectiveness.
- Monitor, optimise, and report on campaign performance using data and analytics.
- Manage media budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and strong return on investment.
- Ensure compliance with brand guidelines, industry regulations, and financial controls, including SOX where applicable.
- Stay up to date with media trends, technologies, and opportunities within the UK automotive market.
- Prepare post-campaign analyses with insights and recommendations.
- Support senior leadership with media investment recommendations and campaign reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Media, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in media buying.
- Proven experience within the automotive sector is essential.
- Demonstrated experience managing large-scale, multi-channel media campaigns.
- Strong knowledge of the UK media landscape, consumer behaviour, and automotive market.
- Proficiency with media planning and analytics platforms such as Nielsen, Kantar, AdIntel, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and DV360.
- Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and agency management skills.
- Excellent analytical skills with experience measuring and optimising campaign performance.
- Experience managing significant media budgets and ensuring financial compliance.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results to tight deadlines.
