Salary: £40,000 to £50,000 depending on experience
Contract: Permanent Contract (2 years initial contract)
Location: London Canary Wharf (ideally Office based – some flexibly for hybrid working)
Our client is one of the largest state-owned companies in China. They are looking for an experienced business operations professional to join their small team in London, to support with a range of business support duties, including accounting & HR administration. The ideal candidate will be a highly organised individual with keen eye for detail, and an analytical mindset. You should also have experience liaising with external vendors and suppliers, and ability to resolve any queries relating to accounts and payment processing.
Lead day-to-day office administration, manage local third-party service providers including building management, company secretary, utility, and other service providers.
Supporting the company members with the issue of documents such as service agreements, various billing documents including invoices and handling invoices from vendors to effect payment etc.
Support the team logistic of senior delegation from China with scheduling business meetings
Support business operations, translation, basic accounting, and tax filing for 3rd party vendors
with the stakeholders and internal business teams in Beijing
Support with HR administration duties, such as payroll
Continual improvement of office organisation and management for efficient running of the business
Fluency in Mandarin to native level (Essential)
Good level of English both written and spoken
3-5 years’ experience in general business support, administrative, accounting, with preference for accounting/tax background
Experience working for a Chinese business (ideally state owned)
IT skills, including using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Education to degree level or equivalent
Analytical mindset with strong numerical and analytical skills
