Pay rate: £210 (PAYE) or £270 (Self-Employed/ltd. Company)

They are looking for content editors with localisation experience to translate, and localise, and optimise the content for the Malay market. This is an excellent opportunity for a content localisation lead to be involved in this new project, and work with an international team within the London office, and gain great experience in a new environment where you have the support of your peers, and the best techy tools to deliver optimum work.
Services to be performed:
Own the localisation of UI text and messaging into ensuring a high quality and compliant localized experience, for Malaysia. Determine the terminology and linguistic style for the business in these languages.
Perform localisation tasks and collaborate with external translation vendors to consistently raise bar on localisation quality.
Handle linguistic QA testing across all business compatible devices on-device and work with QA managers to fix issues. Use Business tools to perform the localisation work.
Each individual contractor must have extensive experience in text localisation into Malay ideally for technical and/or digital products
Native speaker in Malay, and with excellent English skills, both written and verbal
Proven experience in localizing products and features and excellent editor skills, especially when it comes to technically complex topics
Experience with localisation QA testing as well as triaging issues
Sound knowledge with Microsoft Office applications as well as Content Management Systems and other localisation tools
Outstanding communication, problem-solving and organizational skills
Attention to detail and passion for delivering a great customer experience
Desire to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment
