Korean speaking Accountant Financial Controller

This is a wonderful role for an ACCA ( or equivalent ) qualified ACCOUNTANT looking to use their fluent KOREAN -as well as well as strong academic finance background- in a fast -moving retail business. This organisation is at the forefront of brining K-beauty products into the UK market and you will have full ownership of the financial control and all the reporting . The job will allow you genuine autonomy as well as involve team management (the team of 3-4 people is very friendly and great to work with …they are all energetic and committed and you will mentor and coach them in a nice collaborative work environment .

TITLE : Korean speaking Accountant Financial Controller

Salary : to £80,000 + additional £8k in annual bonus ( + other benefits)

Location: Surrey

Work Style: Hybrid ( 3 days in office. 2 days are wfh)

Car parking : available

Languages required: Fluent Korean and English

Sector : Import export and beauty FMCG Retail

Essential Qualifications : ACCA qualified

Duties:

• Use of fluent Korean on a daily basis .
• Lead and develop a team of 3-4 finance professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and growth.
• Partner with Supply Chain Management (SCM) to optimise stock management, ensuring efficiency and profitability in retail operations.
• Oversee and enhance the finance information systems, driving digital transformation and improved reporting capabilities.
• Deliver budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support commercial decision-making.

REQUIREMENTS

• Fluent Korean & English
• ACCA full qualification (or equivalent).
• Proven track record as a CFO, Financial Controller, or senior finance leader.
• Experience managing and mentoring a finance team
• Ideally a background in retail or consumer goods, with hands-on knowledge of stock management and working closely with SCM.
