TITLE: German SaaS Sales Executive- Marketing Platform (DACH region)
SALARY £60k ( neg) + uncapped OTE ( average earnings in year one are C £120k ) and accelerator commission structure

LOCATION: 3 days office-based. The office is in Moorgate in London .
COMPANY: You will be joining a SaaS business that has carved out a successful niche within social media and marketing content management. This organisation’s software bolsters the social media marketing efforts of a company’s’ inhouse marketing team and also of digital agencies globally, helping marketers make their campaigns even more effective . This is a great sector to join at the moment because all social media activity has grown hugely during Covid and this is a trend that will continue. This translates into working in a “consultative” manner with clients and will mean personally establishing rapport m building a pipeline and providing a solution to the issues that marketers face in how to reach more clients more effectively. Your target audience will be marketing companies or marketing teams who are under pressure to get measurable results for their own clients from their social media campaigns.
There is huge earnings potential for the right person and you will be the only person working on the DACH region, so you won’t have to ” share” clients or commissions. This is a “consultative hunter” role.
THE ROLE in a nutshell: This is a classic full-service 360 degree sales role involving four key stages: 1) contact 2) pitch 3)demo 4) close-the-deal
Working from a mix of inbound enquiries and new business leads you will:
Engage with clients who have landed on the website and shown interest in a product demo ( 30%-40% of the role)
Work from an already curated list of leads you will “courtesy call” or email prospects to introduce the business (60%-70% of the role)
Send follow-up emails
Book “discovery” appointments with the clients and take a deep dive into understanding their business challenges. Identify how the technology can help magnify the effectiveness of their social media marketing campaigns
Personally undertake demo appointments (4 per week)
Negotiate directly with clients on pricing, contract details and service levels. Then close the deal.
