Superb opportunity to work for the leading Consultancy firm for Oil and Gas production in Africa.
The role requires a fully operational Finance Manager with experience of handling multi-currency ledgers. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will have plenty of hands-on experience using accounting software and be confident manipulating data in Excel.
As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of the company’s bookkeeping as well as the preparation, analysis, interpretation and communication of financial information, reporting to Companies House and liaising with other stakeholders.
Many of their clients are FRENCH speaking!
Duties will include:
Invoice generation/processing, credit control, bank reconciliation, credit card reconciliation, staff expenses, petty cash, weekly payment run, journals and cash flow management involving several multi-currency accounts
Meeting HMRC filing/payment deadlines
Preparing P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow
Handling all aspects of VAT including filing returns
Producing and improving the quarterly management accounts, including profitability reporting versus budget
