My client, a well-established international bank based in London, is currently looking to hire an experienced Executive Assistant to support the General Manager and Deputy General Managers. This is a rare opportunity to step into a highly visible position, acting as a true right-hand to senior executives and playing a key role in supporting business-critical decisions.
Job Title: EA to General Manager Mandarin Speaking-FTC
Location: City of London
Work style: 100% office based
Salary: up to ๏ฟก54,000+4K lunch cover
Languages: Fluent Mandarin and English
This is more than a traditional EA, you will act as a trusted right-hand support, ensuring the smooth running of the leadership team’s day-to-day activities while also supporting Management Committee operations and wider business coordination.
Responsibility
- Managing complex and fast-moving diaries for senior leadership, ensuring priorities are aligned and time is used effectively
- Coordinating internal and external meetings, preparing agendas, collating papers and taking accurate meeting minutes
- Acting as a key point of contact across departments, helping to drive communication and ensure follow-ups are completed
- Handling travel arrangements, itineraries and logistics for senior stakeholders
- Supporting Management Committee activities, including documentation, approvals, and maintaining decision records
- Preparing high-quality presentations and documents (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) for internal and external use
- Managing expenses, corporate card reconciliation and administrative records with high accuracy
- Assisting with internal events, external visits and wider office initiatives
- Supporting ad-hoc projects and providing general administrative support to the wider team when required
Requirement
- Previous experience as an Executive Assistant or senior administrator, ideally within banking or a corporate environment
- Strong experience supporting senior stakeholders (Director level and above)
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines
- Strong communication skills, with confidence dealing with stakeholders at all levels
- High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information
- Solid IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office
- Fluent in both English and Mandarin (spoken and written)
