DUTCH Assistant Food QA Manager HOLLAND

Title: DUTCH Assistant QA Manager ( FOOD)

Salary : up to Eu3,500 per month over 14 months
(total salary is Eu 49.000 per annum + bens )
Work style: This is a fully office-based role

Essential background: Food manufacturing and catering services industry
Company details: This is a well-established food import/export business that specialises in importing specialist high quality food products globally, and supplies supermarkets and restaurants directly . The company has gone through a recent explosion in growth because of the increased interest in home-cooking that started during Covid and has continued to grow at a fast pace. Restaurants and patrons are now experimenting with new flavours and new dishes, following chefs on Instagram etc and as a result of this, the company has been able to expand strongly in order to accommodate increasingly sophisticated international dishes .

DUTIES: Supporting the QA Manager and with the aim of ensuring labelling compliance to protect brand reputation and consumer safety

Labelling & Food safety :

• Liaise with suppliers to manage product specifications, labelling requirements, and quality documentation
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, hygiene codes, Dutch food safety regulations, and BRCGS standards.
• Translate and update product label texts across the full product range

Supplier Documentation

• Monitor and manage supplier documentation folders,
• Support internal audits and external food safety inspections,

Customer /Supplier care.

• Handle customer and supplier communication ( customers include supermarkets/restaurants etc )
• Investigate food issues

REQUIREMENTS

• Good spoken Dutch and English
• 1-3 years Food QA sector experience
• Understanding of food hygiene legislation /labelling requirements etc
