Salary: £25,000 basic – £30,000 basic depending on experience Plus, an OTE of £15,000+ (uncapped)

Our client is an events company based in central London with an established reputation for delivering high quality in-person and virtual cyber security events across the UK, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
They are looking for a Business Development Manager to join their bespoke team. This is a rare opportunity to join an experienced and highly skilled team. they work in a busy environment so this role is best suited to a quick learner who can meet deadlines under pressure. The candidate will need to be hardworking, have a good telephone manner and be determined. They will need to be equally able to work independently as well as part of a team. You will need to have the ability to build effective working relationships through good communication.
Key responsibilities
Meeting and exceeding sales targets and set KPIs
Growing the client base through proactive outbound calling and emails to prospects and new leads
Updating CRM records with client data, interactions, and future tasks
Representing the event sponsors during event preparations
Supporting the senior events team with preparing proposals
Attending in-person UK and international events as well as virtual events on the day
Key requirements
Solid sales experience with proven experience in achieving and exceeding sales targets
Previous experience in events or media sales (desirable)
Education to degree level or equivalent (desirable)
Experience in using sales CRMS/databases
Proven experience in generating and winning new business
Experience in client negotiation skills and handling objections
Excellent communications skills both written and spoken
