You will join a large-scale International E-Commerce business that is scaling up fast and is looking for an ambitious and talented Senior Legal Counsel – IP Litigation to help with their planned expansion. The company has four offices globally and is operating in more than 20 countries.

Responsibilities:
– Work with general counsel to set up a strong US IP/litigation team
– Advise on the platform rules and procedures relating to copyright and trademark infringement and protection
– Handle copyright and trademark-related disputes with rights holders, sellers
– Develop and implement IP protection and enforcement strategy for the platform against infringements by others
– Apply effective risk management strategies and offer proactive advice on possible legal issues
Key Requirements:
– have J.D. degree with 9+ years of legal practice, including in-house experience
– have trademark/copyright litigation experience
– preferably have online marketplace/online payment/technology experience
