Mandarin speaking Warehouse manager

A franchise retail store is looking for a warehouse manager (mandarin speaking) in Derby! They are looking for a someone with forklift truck licence and Retail warehouse management system experience!

Our client would like to recruit a Warehouse Manager to join their Operations team in Derby. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for the day to day running of all operations within the warehouse ensuring that all Health & Safety and security regulations are adhered to. The candidate will also be building a team of 2 direct reports.

The role:

• Manage general warehouse duties, stock takes, run daily team meetings
• Attend standard daily meetings and prepare daily KPI reports as required for functional area
• Ensure all goods are received into the business from vendors in accordance with work instructions
• Ensure inventory is physically located into their appropriate storage locations to appropriate standards
• Replenish Lineside stock on a daily basis and maintain shortage/ stock out listing
• Part allocation and kitting operation completion of production orders in retail warehouse management system(training will be provided)
• Receipt of completed Production Orders to stock
• Root cause analysis of stock discrepancies
• Compliance to documentation and record storage requirements
• To be fully conversant with all HS&E procedures and to implement and comply with them
• Be aware of, and comply with, all Quality Assurance procedures at all times

• Experience working in a stores management role.
• A keen eye for detail and accuracy
• Numerically competent
• Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Retail warehouse management system experience
• Flexi Forklift Truck License is desirable
