Salary: £20,000 to £25,000 per annum + £10,000 OTE (uncapped commission)
Job type: Permanent
Working hours: Monday – Friday 9.00 AM – 5.30 PM (1 hour lunch)
Location: Office based role (may offer some flexibility for hybrid working after probationary period) – office location is in Central London.
Our client is a B2B media company which organise conferences predominantly within security and risk, but also cover other industries. They are looking for an events sales executive to join their team in their Central London office.
The role will involve booking delegates for upcoming events and conference via phone, email and social media. You will need to understand the content of each event in order to engage with the attendees and update the CRM with your activities.
This will suit a candidate who is used to working in a fast-paced, you will be a quick learner who can meet deadlines under pressure. You will need to be hardworking, have a good telephone manner and be determined. You will need to be equally able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Acheiving personal sales targets on a project-by-project basis by achieving high call and engagement rates on a daily basis
- Managing new and existing customers by creating a high number of sales opportunities
- Proactively qualifying, growing, and maintaining an account list
- Providing regular updates to your line manager and sharing sales intelligence with colleagues
- Maintaining the company’s high standards in all areas internally and externally
- Attending in-person UK and international events as well as virtual events on the day
Requirements
- Fluent in English to a high standard, spoken and written (Essential)
- Experience in lead research and sales
- Previous delegate sales, events sales, or telemarketing experience (Highly Desirable)
- Experience working with a CRM database (Ideally Salesforce)
- Have a record of successful results
- Possess great communication and relationship building skills
- Customer oriented
- A team player, but also able to work individually
- Proven experience in meeting deadlines
- You are great with Microsoft Office
