Business Development Executive – MANDARIN
JOB TITLE: Chinese-Speaking Inside Sales / Business Development Specialist
LOCATION: Swindon, United Kingdom (Hybrid – 3 days in office)

SALARY: 40K + Performance Bonus
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS: Fluent English (Essential) + Mandarin Chinese (Essential)
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a commercially driven Inside Sales / Business Development role focused on supporting and expanding business across the China market.
The position requires a proactive, performance-oriented individual who can manage client relationships, drive new business opportunities, and deliver consistent sales growth within a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
You will act as a key link between international teams and Chinese clients, ensuring smooth communication, strong account management, and efficient sales execution.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales & Business Development
- Develop and grow new business opportunities within the China market
- Manage inbound and outbound sales activities to drive revenue growth
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through CRM systems
- Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs
- Identify new industry sectors, customers, and product opportunities
Account Management
- Maintain and develop strong relationships with existing clients
- Act as the key point of contact for assigned customer accounts
- Deliver high levels of customer service and client satisfaction
- Identify opportunities for account expansion and upselling
Sales Operations & Coordination
- Maintain accurate sales data, pipeline tracking, and customer records in CRM systems
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis
- Support pricing, quotation, and order processing activities
- Coordinate with internal teams including operations, logistics, and finance
Market Development & Analysis
- Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity
- Support regional sales strategy and growth initiatives
- Participate in business development activities, including events and exhibitions when required
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Essential:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, or Account Management
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Experience working with international markets, ideally China or APAC
- Strong commercial awareness with a performance-driven mindset
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience using CRM systems and sales reporting tools
- Fluent Mandarin Chinese and strong English communication skills
Preferred:
- Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline
- Experience in B2B sales or technical/commercial industries
- Understanding of Chinese business culture and working practices
- Experience working in fast-paced, international environments
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
