Field Event Manager (6‑Month Contract)

Location: London (Hybrid – 2 days onsite, Tues/Weds)

Rate: £370 – £411 per day

In this role, you’ll take full ownership of major developer‑focused events across EMEA – from flagship experiences to high‑profile industry conferences. This means leading everything end‑to‑end: strategic planning, programme oversight, logistics, production, and on‑the‑ground delivery. It’s a hands‑on role built for someone who thrives in fast‑paced environments, loves the buzz of live events, and is energised by creating experiences that make developers feel genuinely seen, valued, and inspired.

Responsibilities:

Owning end‑to‑end delivery of large‑scale event programmes across EMEA

• Leading logistics, operations, timelines, and on‑site execution
• Managing booth and stand production – from creative briefings to build, breakdown, and quality control
• Creating engaging activations that genuinely resonate with the developer community
• Working closely with Developer Relations, Marketing, Product, and regional teams
• Managing agencies, suppliers, and production partners
• Travelling across EMEA to oversee events and ensure flawless delivery
• Tracking performance, reporting outcomes, and continuously improving the programme

Requirements:

• Strong experience managing complex, multi‑stream events (tech or B2B ideal)
• Proven ability to run large‑scale conferences, sponsorships, and activations
• Hands‑on experience with booth/stand production and agency management
• Excellent project management skills – organised, detail‑driven, calm under pressure
• Confident stakeholder manager who can work across teams and regions
• Passion for creating exceptional attendee experiences
• Willingness to travel across EMEA
• Fluent English (additional European languages a plus)
