Salary: Around £52,000 – negotiable depending on experience and current salary + company car + bonuses

Key Responsibilities
- As the Business Development Manager, act as the central link between retailers, finance partners, and commercial teams-ensuring alignment on standards, profitability, and strategic priorities.
- The Business Development Manager leads deep-dive floorplan analysis including stocking health, utilisation ratios, age profile, and capital inefficiency risks.
- Acting as the strategic Business Development Manager, deliver composite reviews covering sales funnel performance, finance penetration, aftersales contribution, used car KPIs, and customer metrics.
- Conduct structured network audits, producing action plans across facility standards, operational processes, brand compliance, and workforce readiness.
- Guide retailers through refurbishment planning, CI upgrades, and performance-improvement workstreams.
- Lead best-practice sharing across the network through playbooks, workshops, and targeted interventions.
- Support expansion projects, site selection, capability assessment, and onboarding for new retail partners.
Requirements
- The ideal Business Development Manager holds several years of OEM network operations, commercial management, or dealer development experience.
- A successful Business Development Manager is confident working with composite data, board-level stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
- Strong capability in analysing retail KPIs, financial models, and operational frameworks.
- Able to influence without authority and deliver structured improvement plans.
- Comfortable managing multiple projects and travelling across the region regularly.
