Job Title: Chinese speaking UKI GM (Fintech)

Salary: £ 150,000 (depends on experience, negotiable to excellent candidate)

The Company

You will be joining a company that is at the cutting edge of new developments within fintech. This sector is currently in fast-growth-mode and is changing the way money is transferred globally. The company is aggressively expanding its business in global remittance. Due to the rapid expansion, they are now looking to take on an all-rounded UKI GM.

As General Manager in Fintech in the UK, you will be responsible for leading business planning for expanding market share, plan execution, operations and people management of the whole branch.

Responsibilities

• To strengthen the company within London and be the best possible ambassador for the company.
• Responsible for defining business needs, and to initiate strategic cooperation projects
• Responsible for the business development in the UK
• Identify new business opportunities and develop/nurture new relationships
• Responsible for team building, motivation and budget management
• Monthly/Weekly/Daily reporting to HQ.
• Work closely with head office to achieve UK office monthly, quarterly and annual sales and other operation and marketing metrics
• Develop branding presence in Chinese communities in UK and EU
• Set up and optimize UK office management, operation system

Requirements:

• Master’s degree or above
• Rich experience as General Manager/Managing Director in FinTech
• Good at the strategic deployment
• Start-up experience is preferred.
• Full of entrepreneurial spirit, understand and agree with company culture
• Fluent in Chinese, including speaking and writing
• Target driven
• Manager experience of Marketing, Sales, Operation, Business Development, accounting or finance
• Experience managing team of c10 people
• Business Management experience including PL/BS/Cash flow management.
• Preferable in related industry such as FinTech/Payment/Banking
• Open, honest and positive mindset, with a passion for challenges and a sense of duty to complete tasks.
• Have a business and management mindset, business management (P&L) experience is preferable
• Proactive worker, self-motivator, strong executional skills
