Salary: From 25,000 GBP to 30,000 depending on experience + bonus + pension + benefits

Our client is a leading Global Research and Educational Publisher. This a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious candidate willing to work in fast-paced Sales, Business Development and Account Manager position. In this role, you will manage a strong sales territory covering the North American Region. This is a very sales-driven position, where you will be required to manage inbound daily sales calls and generate leads through cold calling and prospecting existing and new clients.
We are looking for someone extremely driven, enthusiastic and confident, with strong organisational skills and with a sales-minded approach, with the ability to work under deadlines. An interest in Research, Education and Science is desirable.
Prospecting new clients as well as managing existing clients to generate sales.
Performing outbound lead generation through cold calling, emails and LinkedIn.
Sporadically travelling to the designated territories.
Attending meetings, conferences and other industry events.
Proactively pursue opportunities to drive change to add value to the business.
Being able to provide clear revenue figures.
Fluent English. Any other languages are a bonus but not specifically required in this role.
Minimum qualification of a Bachelor’s Degree.
Ability to engage over the phone to identify customer’s challenges.
Solid commercial acumen. We are looking for a strong business and sales-minded person.
Fantastic communication and top-notch customer service skills.
Strategic planner with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Team player. Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
