Purpose of the role. .
This is a newly created role in which you wilk be reporting to the Director of Programme Management, the purpose of this role is to build and lead the CoE in its mission to build capabilities & embed best practices across this food and hospitality. The Centre of Excellence (CoE) team is newly formed with the goal of driving continuous operational improvement, building capability & embedding best practice. You will be looking at the competition and related sectors to consistently ensure that the company is clear on what best in class represents and ensure that there is a viable roadmap to achieve
The role
Setting the functional strategy for CoE aligned to the procurement business strategy
Setting the practical plans around driving continuous operational improvement
Defining best practice, prioritising activity and agreeing the resources required through the business case sign off process with board
Project plan with scope, package roles & responsibilities
Lead external benchmarking in order to become – & remain – World Class
Working collaboratively with teams across the supply chain and procurement
