We are looking to take on a motivated Mandarin speaking Recruitment Consultant who has a “consultative” outlook and good business acumen. The ideal candidate should have a full understanding and appreciation of Chinese culture and can work well with Chinese companies and clients.
After one-year development, Our China Desk now have a huge Chinese speaking candidate database and have built very good relationship with many Chinese companies.
You will be joining a fast-growing desk and work with our Head of China Desk within a small but friendly group of experienced Recruitment Consultants.
We are looking for a Mandarin speaking Recruitment Consultant who is able to source Chinese speaking applicants and develop new business. The aim is to gently build very long-term relationships with Chinese companies, with the aim of finding them permanent staff and also helping them fill bilingual temporary or contract roles.
As a recruitment consultant, you will be contacting new clients (cold calling), meeting corporate clients face to face, then advertising, sourcing and screening job applicants.
THE DAY TO DAY INVOLVES
This role involves B2B New Business Development as well as Relationship Management
This is a target driven sales role:
*Cold calling/Courtesy calling: Driving new business effort: you will be given a curated list of lapsed and new clients to contact and introduce our service
*Attending networking events
*Introducing our recruitment and translation services to international companies.
*You will be working to agreed call targets
*Sending staying-in-touch courtesy emails or making calls to existing new clients
*Establishing excellent relationships with clients for the long term, building up a profile of their corporate staffing and language (including translations) requirements
*Interviewing candidates face to face and via skype for roles
*Meeting corporate clients at their offices to learn about their requirements
*Taking down detailed job briefs, “matching” candidates to vacancies
*Providing a top notch after-care service to clients and to candidates alike
