Contract duration: 3 Months with prospect of converting to permanent
Location: Hybrid working with 3 days in the office and 2 from home
Pay: £16 to £18 per hour + holiday pay (Dependant on experience)
Working hours: Monday to Friday 8am – 4.30 pm (Flexible)
Our client is one of the world’s largest technology and ecommerce platforms. They are looking for an experience Instructional designer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with e-learning material and knowledge of one of these design tools: Storyline 360, Rise 360 or Vyond. You will transfer material onto E-learning software and ensure that the content and visualisation is standardised and meet the quality standards set by the business.
Key job responsibilities
Design and develop creative, learner-centred, performance-based training materials utilising interactive eLearning modules and videos
Own and create e-learning modules, assessments, measurement tools, and evaluations of training effectiveness
Develop scalable modules to ensure all training programs are consistent
Facilitate scoping meetings with subject-matter-experts and technical project leads; devise and drive training communication updates Support timely updates, revisions and improvements of existing course syllabi and materials.
Effectively manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Demonstrate attention to detail in a deadline-driven environment.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree required in Instructional Design, Education Technology, or similar field
Relevant experience in an instructional design role
Demonstrated working knowledge of eLearning development tools such as Articulate Storyline, Captivate, Camtasia, and Adobe Creative Suite, Rise 360, or Vyond
Demonstrated experience designing and developing interactive training materials in all modalities, including ILT, e-learning, video for LMS or mobile environments
