Our client is a leading Global Research and Educational Publisher. This a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious candidate willing to work in fast-paced Sales, Business Development and Account Manager position. In this role, you will manage a strong sales territory covering Germany, Switzerland, France and Luxembourg.
Ideally you will have some sales or account management experience but most importantly, you will be enthusiastic with an excellent telephone manner. This position will put you at the heart of a global media sales team at a publisher that is the leading brand in its sector.
We are looking for someone extremely driven, enthusiastic and confident, with strong organizational skills and with a sales-minded approach, with the ability to work under deadlines. An interest in Research, Education and Science is desirable.
Prospecting new clients as well as managing existing clients to generate sales.
Performing outbound lead generation through cold calling, emails and LinkedIn.
Regularly meet and liaise with clients and agencies to discuss and identify advertising requirements within the designated territory
Sporadically travelling to the designated territories.
Attending meetings, conferences and other industry events.
Proactively pursue opportunities to drive change to add value to the business.
Being able to provide clear revenue figures.
Fluent German and/or French.
Ability to engage over the phone to identify customer’s challenges.
Solid commercial acumen. We are looking for a strong business and sales-minded person.

Strategic planner with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
