TITLE: FRENCH Supply Chain Relationship/Team Manager
Salary : Total comp of up to £90,000
Sector : Retail supply chain within FMCG . Logistics
Direct reports: up to 5
Purpose of the role: This is a key strategic and operational role in which you will be fully responsible for the management of a high performing bilingual team based both in the UK and abroad that will look after important supplier relationships . Your role is to identify cost savings and increase efficiencies where possible. Your job is to oversee and directly manage those relationships, identify cost saving opportunities and increase efficient supply. There will be some travel involved in this role.

Team management :Coach manage and motivate your team based in the UK and also those based remotely in France ( up to 5 reports)
Identify skills shortfalls and address them
Make sure your team is always aware of price changes or any new products
Supplier/Distributor Management: Direct management of key suppliers based in France
Undertake regular supplier reviews and track performance against KPI’s
Challenge suppliers on price and delivery schedules
Research the market to stay on top of fluctuations and be aware of external pressures that impact on the supply and delivery of goods
Identify new suppliers and go through the tender process
Project management of ad hoc global distribution and supplier projects
