Full Time initial contract-based role

Salary: Up to €36,000 (depending on experience)
Language requirements: Native Italian & Fluent English
This is an exciting opportunity to join a world-leading Architect and Designer company based in Milan, Italy. We are currently seeking a long term, flexible, highly organised and motivated individual that has at least 2-3 years’ experience in either PR or Communications Management.
This position will focus on both the Italian and International markets, and in the longer term could involve international travel and an opportunity for career progression.
In this role, you will utilise your expertise in communications to drive the commercial interests and activities of the studio. Amongst others, some of your main responsibilities will be:
*Support and plan the growth of the brand, through content and communication channels.
*Manage and expand social media channels, with the aim of increasing both audience and interaction numbers.
*Secure meaningful PR opportunities.
*Map and develop stakeholder relations with all parties that could assist with the positive awareness and reputation of the studio.
*Source and/or create content and develop positioning for projects the studio may be working on
*Be an internal source of information, ensuring the visionary work the studio founder and his team produce can be popularised by all involved.
Other Important Job Requirements
*Develop or extend your understanding of the issues, interests, publications, and projects in the architectural and design worlds in Italy and around the world.
*Work with other staff to manage interview requests, drafting responses, selecting suitable imagery to accompany each interview / feature and seeking press approval where necessary on images.
*Develop strong media relationships and build international connections across all channels.
*You must be familiar and at ease with social media communication, particularly Instagram and Twitter, and be able to demonstrate how you would apply your knowledge to reach the aforementioned goals. Any metrics demonstrating your abilities would be well regarded.
*Proactively pitch editorial and marketing content on and offline to relevant outlets across consumer, trade and national media.
*Anticipate situations where PR may become negative and manage to a positive outcome.
*Assist with the planning and execution of event activity, to drive brand awareness and value.
*At least 2 years of experience working in a purely communications-based role.
*Must have a keen interest in architecture, design, and high culture.
*Strong experience of brand positioning and brand-infused communications.
*Robust knowledge of social media channel growth tactics and strategies.
*Bachelor’s Degree preferred – ideally in Journalism, Public Relations, Communications or a related field.
