Salary: £45,000 – £48,000
Location: Central London – Office based role with a minimum of 1 / 2 days in the office
Working hours: 8.00am – 5.30pm OR 9.00 am – 5.30 pm Monday to Friday
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day operation/administration of the talent selection process including the recruitment, interviewing and recommendation of qualified candidates; develop and implements effective talent strategies, and ensures the ongoing and future organizational talent demands are met utilizing data analytics, recruitment and branding programs. Manages high volume and speciality recruitment for the region.
Key responsibilities
- Actively manages recruitment process for European vacancies, by sourcing, attracting and interviewing a diverse slate of candidates.
- Take ownership of the recruitment life cycle to include sourcing, candidate calibration, screening, interview scheduling, and extending candidate offers. Ensures an engaging candidate experience, providing clear expectations of process and providing ongoing updates.
- Recommend appropriate cost-effective recruiting methods and strategies through utilization of various job boards, the internet, social media and networking to build a talent pipeline; researches and recommends new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
- Build relationships with internal customers to better understand hiring manager needs.
- Ensure professional and engaging experience for candidates not selected; notifies candidates that were interviewed but not selected and closes out the positions.
- Monitor all recruitment related activities including time to fill, job board success, website engagement, etc. Identifies opportunities to realign strategies and takes action.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources or related field, or equivalent experience,
- Experience in full-cycle recruitment; working knowledge of appropriate laws and regulations
- Experience with ATS systems is essential
- In-house recruiting or agency experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail with a track record of following through on commitments.
- Excellent organization skills as well as an ability to work well under pressure.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
